The grounds are green, neatly kept, and full of fruit trees and art installations, with a wonderful ocean view. Staff were polite, helpful, professional, and amazing. You'll need a car, since there's nothing within walking distance. Follow the red tulip 🌷 logo to find the hotel. The room is spacious, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view of the ocean and nearby small islands. There's a mini fridge and kettle. The blackout curtains don't do much to keep out the morning light. There's no mirror by the sink, which makes shaving impossible, and no laptop desk, just a small table.

We were sad to leave after six nights. The place felt like a home away from home, and it was more than we expected. Our room was clean and spacious compared with most regular hotels, with peaceful, picturesque views over the ocean from the hilltop. Flower scents and pretty birdsong surrounded us. The ladies who run the pension and café were wonderful. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and handled requests with big smiles. The menu is limited, but breakfast and lunch were tasty, high-quality home-cooked meals. The staff are one of the property's best assets, along with the garden sculptures. The grounds have beautiful sculptures, too. A special surprise was the educational museum tour led by the owner herself. This isn't an ordinary pension, and we'd highly recommend it to anyone hoping to make special vacation memories.

We came planning to stay three nights, then extend by one, and then another. The manager was great, always checking on us and making sure we were comfortable. Our room was perfectly clean and had a nice view. A broken chair was replaced the same day. The restaurant was great for breakfast and other meals, and the owner gave us a lovely free tour of the museum and garden. I'd come back whenever I could!

It's very dark at night, but a quiet, unusual place to stay. The grounds are lovely, filled with plants and art installations. Book a private museum tour if you can. If you're lucky, the hotel owner will tell you about the pieces herself. Her husband is a notable Korean sculptor who made many of the works on display. Staff were friendly, and the café food was delicious.
