There were plenty of local restaurants right outside, and the seaside was a relaxing place to stroll. You can spot windmills out on the ocean, which adds to the local charm. The room was clean and spacious, and having a small kitchen where you can actually cook was a big plus if you prefer making your own meals. It was a comfortable one-night stay. The balcony had bird droppings and didn’t seem to get cleaned regularly. I’m not sure if this is common in Jeju, but there were only small face towels rather than usual full-size ones. That felt a bit uncomfortable, especially traveling with friends, since they don’t provide much coverage, if you know what I mean. I asked for extra towels because I wasn’t used to that setup.

The only clear advantage is the mini beach and the sea view from the window. If that’s what you’re looking for, this place may work for you. But if cleanliness matters a lot to you, you probably won’t like it. When we checked in, there was a lot of dust and hair, and soap covered the bathroom fittings and mirror. We stayed for a week and the room never got wet-cleaned, even after we asked. They gave us four small towels, and those were replaced free of charge.

The bathroom was in pretty poor shape. It was an uncomfortable place to stay, with either a very loud AC or a lot of street noise.

The location made it easy to get around, with the bus stop right outside. It’s by the ocean, and there are restaurants, cafes, and a convenience store nearby. Hyeopjae Beach and Hallim Park are close enough to visit without going far. Mega Resort is an affordable and pleasant place to stay. The rooms were good and very spacious, with a kitchen area and a TV with Netflix. I’m giving it four stars because the bathroom drain had a problem just before we left. Otherwise, everything was perfect.
