Jeju Sanjimul Hotel

The rooms are clean, the location is good, and the price is fairly affordable. You can rent chargers on the first floor, and leave your luggage if you arrive early. I was here on a business trip, basically just to sleep before leaving. It seems to be run in conjunction with a GS convenience store.

The place was very clean and well located, and having a convenience store on the first floor was handy. It was a little inconvenient that I had to ask someone to turn on the air conditioner. The towels also didn’t absorb water very well, and didn’t have that familiar hotel-towel feel, which was disappointing. Still, aside from that, it was the best!

I stayed in a deluxe room. The bedding was average, though the blanket was fluffy and clean. The lobby felt cramped and didn’t have coffee facilities. In the bathroom there was no bidet, and the shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were for communal use. Room amenities included a standard TV, a small refrigerator with two bottles of water, a coffee pot, a hair dryer, and basic disposable items.

I found this hotel(?) on the Yanolja app while looking for a place before a business trip. It had over 500 reviews and the facilities seemed decent, so I gave it a try. It turned out to be really clean, and the staff were friendly. I couldn’t think of anything to complain about. My flight was cancelled on the date of my reservation. I called to ask about moving the booking to the next day, and they changed it right away. The staff are friendly and answer questions immediately, which makes me think the owner has trained them well. I used to book places near City Hall for work trips, but I’ll stick with this one from now on. I’d read lots of negative comments about parking, but the space in front of the motel was empty when I arrived, so I had no parking complaints. The Ido area was quiet and had plenty of parking spots, though I guess in a central commercial district like this, parking is just something to accept. Places with easy parking seem to be either secluded or expensive, one or the other. This seems like somewhere I’d stay again.
