Geumneung Beach is right out front, making this a perfect base for water activities. The owner and staff are so friendly. I’ve been coming here for 15 years.

The location right across from Geumneung Beach is excellent, and the low price earns it two stars from me. Maybe because it’s an old building, it was extremely humid and smelled bad. The toilet seat was broken, which made it uncomfortable.

This works best if your main reason for staying is the beach and you just need somewhere to sleep. It’s a converted motel building. Geumneung Beach is a 30-second walk away, there’s a GS convenience store on the first floor, and prices are affordable compared with other places. But the facilities feel cheap by comparison. It’s a four-story building with no elevator, so you’ll need to carry a large suitcase up the stairs. The water pressure is weak, especially the hot water, among other issues.
