Libentia

We couldn't have been happier with the breakfast. When Chef Kim Soo Hong ( Luke) heard about our dietary restrictions, no dairy and no sodium, he went out of his way to make a full breakfast for us, and it was divine. He had come to our table earlier to explain how he prepared dinner. The rooftop pool was a highlight. Its temperature was perfect for our morning swim, and the deck was an ideal spot for sunset. The hotel is a newly built, resort-like place tucked along the coast of Hallim, Jeju Island, and felt like excellent value in every way. Everyone was kind and accommodating, from hotel manager Choi Jin Soo to the front desk clerk. One suggestion: there needs to be somewhere to hang bathrobes and towels. We were also surprised there were no elevators, though the staff graciously offered to carry our bags to the second floor.

Scores: rooms 5.0, service 5.0, pool 5.0. Parking got 4.0, and the restaurant food was 4.5.

The hotel and villas are lovely, and the people working there are really nice.

The service was amazing, and everyone was so friendly. I wanted to find a convenience store late at night, but wasn't sure if one would still be open in this island town. I asked at the front desk, and they even offered to drive me to one that was open. Thank you so much! The building is pretty, and the interior is beautifully decorated. It's right beside the 202 bus stop. The bathtub was spacious and comfortable. Remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste.
