Pool & Villa Sorang

We came back and couldn’t get into our room because the hotel had changed the key code. They called it hotel policy, but hadn’t let us know ahead of time, so we were left outside. The front desk staff were polite, but it still caused a lot of trouble. The replacement key didn’t work, and we had to go back to the desk twice.

It’s a lovely private place, close to Swiss village and other attractions. In winter, though, the private pool and jacuzzi don’t get nearly warm enough. The outdoor lights also seem to go off after 12, and you can’t switch them back on from the room. Only the lobby can do it, and it’s open from 7 to 24.

Really great service and an amazing experience!

The spacious shared areas work well for group tours, and the private setup means you won’t disturb other people. Still, the soundproofing could be better, and when both bathrooms are being used at once, there’s no hot water. You also have to take out your own trash, but there aren’t any large bins or bags provided. Bring your own adapter too, since there are no universal plugs.
