Amazing Japanese curry!

I went on a weekday at 5 PM and got to enjoy a quiet meal by myself. The soup curry is made in limited quantities each day, so I chose the yaki curry set instead. It was filling and loaded with cheese. 😋

I came back this year after staying here last year. The rooms aren’t especially modern, but they’re clean, well kept, and really tidy. Even the floor tiles and faucets shine, and the amenities seem thoughtfully chosen. Though the space is small, there’s a TV, microwave, and refrigerator, so it’s good for a longer stay. Breakfast and sunset views over the Gimnyeong sea are perfect with dombae sashimi from Gimnyeong Orai. After a drink, it’s just a one-minute walk back to the accommodation.

I had lunch at the izakaya on the first floor, where they also run a small restaurant alongside the guesthouse. I really enjoyed the meal and plan to come by often. The chicken karaage batter was especially good, and the chicken skin gyoza was a real treat. I wound up having two glasses of draft beer with lunch. ^^
