When I arrived to check in today, April 18, for my April 18-20 reservation of two nights, the front desk said someone had already checked in using my booking. I showed my passport and Agoda confirmation number. The staff were quite poor in their manner and first questioned whether I had the wrong booking details. After I showed the Agoda confirmation email and credit card transaction record, they started checking again. The whole thing took nearly an hour. The hotel eventually said my booking information had probably been stolen and used by someone else to check in. It was extremely frustrating and felt disrespectful to be doubted at the start. I hope the hotel and booking platform take booking security and customer service more seriously. If you book through platforms such as Agoda, watch your booking details closely and consider confirming directly with the hotel beforehand to avoid this kind of situation. It was a very unpleasant experience. The counter staff member’s name is Jjin Long.

The only thing that annoyed me was how breakfast ended. While we were still finishing, a restaurant employee came over and rudely cleared away our plates. I understand breakfast has a set end time, but couldn’t they let the passengers finish eating? We didn’t go back for more because we thought it was over when staff started clearing the buffet plates. They could at least have let us finish and swallow our food. It was a guy with glasses.

Breakfast was pretty mediocre, and there wasn’t any non-dairy milk. The room itself was nice, but I’m surprised and disappointed that the hotel has no wine glasses and can’t seem to provide a room key that works reliably.

The room felt suffocating because the air conditioning didn’t work and only the heaters were running. When we asked the front desk for help, the man told us to open the windows and sleep, in a very rude way. The reception was cold, and the manager didn’t respond when we tried to reach him. There was no bellboy for our bags, and the hallway carpets were filthy, with stains all over. The front desk person was unfriendly and didn’t even smile. This is one of the worst hotels we’ve ever stayed in, and the most disgusting and disappointing in Jeju. A waste of money. I’d tell anyone considering Ramada Wyndham Jeju Hamdeok not to book here.
