Sono Belle Jeju

The resort made a great base for exploring, with popular restaurants, cafés and attractions nearby. We even walked to Café Del Moondo, just a 7-minute stroll away. There were beautiful ocean views and plenty of spots for photos, and our spacious room had a kitchen and balcony. The property also had a spa, restaurants, a fitness center and free parking. Jeju Island is a stunning part of South Korea, with beautiful nature and local food worth trying. People say, if America has Hawaii, Korea has Jeju Island! As a Korean American visiting Korea, I highly recommend this resort.

The location is excellent, the property is big, and there are lots of food options nearby. The rooms are okay, but the resort lacks luxury features despite relatively high prices. Since there aren't extra facilities or activities at the resort, you might consider hotels facing the sea. The staff seemed very unprofessional. Language was the biggest issue: nobody understood English or tried to, and most questions got a 'no' as the answer.

The room was spacious, and the beach was very close by.

My family found the stay really frustrating. Room service only brought fresh towels. They didn't take away the used ones, replace the trash bags, or make the beds, things I'd expect at this price. The shower towels were hand-towel sized, and larger ones cost extra even though they were available. Compared with about six other hotels I've stayed at in Jeju, this was the worst experience. Past comments suggest these problems had already been going on for more than four years.
