The breakfast buffet was great value, with lots of Korean and Western choices. Booking ahead gets you a discount. Staff we met were kind, polite, and quick to help with questions. One time the bidet stopped working, but someone came and fixed it right away. There are also free drinks, water and orange juice, replenished daily along with cookies. We stayed in a room a fair way from the lobby. With a car that wasn't an issue, and for check-in and check-out the hotel offers short rides between the building and lobby, which was handy. There aren't elevators in every building, so expect to carry luggage if your room is upstairs. Our room was clean, and we didn't see any insects, despite reading reviews that made me worry. I'd suggest a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor to reduce the chance of pests. The garden-view rooms and villas are closer to nature, so bugs could show up more often there. The shower pressure was usable but a little weak. The square bathtub wasn't the most comfortable for soaking, though it worked better if I lay diagonally. They also provided bath salts. The room was comfortable and we'd happily come back. We heard good things about the happy hour with unlimited free beer and popcorn, though we didn't try it.

It was a quiet seaside resort with a beautiful view, but the room itself was awful. There were lots of bugs, and it smelled strongly of disinfectant mixed with musty sewage.

The room amenities were the one good part of our stay. On the first night, we got a room with air conditioning stuck at 30°C. It was so hot that we opened the windows for cooler air, and mosquitoes bit us all night. The itching lasted three days. At 9 a.m., drilling maintenance started right outside our door, which hardly felt like a holiday. We complained, but the staff were indifferent. We asked them to fix the air conditioning, yet when we returned that night the temperature hadn't changed. We had to pack and move rooms in the middle of the night, and nobody explained what happened to our original room. For this price range, I'd rather stay at Dain Oceano Hotel.

The private pool villa was beyond my budget, but the standard room was comfortable, and staying at a resort-style hotel was a treat. The tangerine cookies and drinks were cute and tasty little amenities, maybe especially fitting for Jeju. I pass by every day, so I was happy to discover this place. Next time, I'll earn more and book a nicer room!

It's outside Seogwipo, but still a lovely spot for a calm family getaway. The view is beautiful, and it's warm in winter. I've heard there can be lots of bugs in summer. There's also a great sushi restaurant nearby.
