The room had plenty of space, but it smelled like pee and the facilities were very old. The carpet was coming loose, the ceiling leaked, and the hallways were dark and humid. The front desk didn't have a luggage scale either. (May 2026)

The family room was huge, and I loved the sea view in the morning sun. The town has a relaxed seaside feel, with a coin laundry and the lovely Moonwhale Cafe within walking distance. Check whether the swimming pool will be open in summer before you book. The lighting and ventilation could be better, but we had a good stay.

We'd been at a nearby restaurant and couldn't get a taxi for ages. The receptionists kindly helped us out. I was so grateful for their wonderful service!

The room was in better condition than I expected, and the ocean view from inside was great for sightseeing.

We couldn't sleep very well because there was no air conditioning in winter and we had to leave the window open. Apart from that, it was a great stay.
