Urban Island Hotel

For what we paid, the room was okay. Three nights here cost about the same as one night at other hotels we looked at, so it’s a budget option. When we arrived, there was a lint remover sheet on the floor, probably dropped by housekeeping. The door also needs a push to close properly, so keep an eye on it. The location is good, with lots of restaurants nearby and a bus stop right outside. The TV had Netflix and YouTube, but DisneyPlus wouldn’t open. They list “Towels” in the Agoda amenities, but there were only hand towels, no bath towels, so bring your own. They provide shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, toothpaste, and a hair blower. The bathroom light is on a timer and switches off even if you’re still in there. Both the room and bathroom bins are small, and I found the robes itchy. The staff were okay and can speak basic English, but sometimes nobody was at the front desk, so we had to wait when we needed something.

The rooms are comfortable and pleasant, and the service is good. Bring your own towel if you can, since theirs are really small.

The staff were friendly, and both the rooms and location were nice.

For €50 a night, I got a nice single room and breakfast. The breakfast was just okay.
