Yong Stay

I’d paid in full for my room a month ahead, then got a message from the host asking me to cancel just four hours before check-in because they’d overbooked. I had to spend extra time and money finding another hotel. Ridiculous.

Really clean, and the host was thoughtful and quick to help. 10/10.

There’s a digital lock on the door, and the woman running the place was very kind, even though she didn’t speak English. The kitchen was clean, and there’s a washer and dryer. My room was clean too, with plenty of room for luggage and hanging clothes. The shower and toilet are together, and the heated floor was nice in winter. It’s not far from Jeju airport: the bus takes about 15-20 mins, then it may be a walk depending on where you get off.

The room was on the small side, but it worked for us. By taxi it was 7 minutes to the airport, or two bus stops away. The kitchen appliances all worked fine, including the washing machine. The ahjumma was really kind and ordered a taxi for us very early, at 05.00.
