The quiet atmosphere, tall wooden beams, and sliding paper doors opening onto field views made the rooms feel really calm. There’s Wi-Fi too. The Hanok style runs throughout, though I’m not sure it’s very old since it looks like it may have been built in the last 30 years. My problem was sleeping. There are no beds, just a thin roll on a hard floor, and I couldn’t sleep on it. I’d checked Google reviews and Trustpilot beforehand, and the photos there showed rooms with beds. There’s no evening restaurant, so you’ll need a cab to the nearest place for supper. Breakfast was Korean only, but really good.

We were on our way from Seoul to JeJu and all loved the hotel’s atmosphere and beautiful traditional style. Sitting on the patio to play games and listen to the birds and secadas was a highlight. It is somewhat secluded, though, and there aren’t many restaurants nearby.

The hotel grounds were beautiful, and the ancient-Korean-inspired buildings made for great photos. Try getting up early to see the sun rise over the distant mountain ranges. We booked a room for six and were very comfortable in the 'house' they provided. The surrounding area is an agriculture learning center for young children, which also makes it a nice place for a morning walk. Breakfast was delicious Korean food, and I couldn’t find fault with it.

Get there early at check-in if you can, so you have time to appreciate the whole complex. It’s a gorgeous setting, and breakfast was included and delicious. I’d stay again, 12/10. The room had lovely wooden furniture, a Dolce Gusto machine, kettle, tea, a nice bathroom, air purifiers, underfloor heating, air conditioning, and plenty of sockets. My father-in-law found the low bed very comfortable. My husband and I slept on the Korean floor mattress. Because I have intermittent back issues it was a little painful, but I slept well, while my husband slept like a dream.

A car is probably the best way to get to this Hanok, since it’s in a quiet agricultural and park area. During our stay, the rooms and breakfast restaurant were the only services available. If you like Hanok or Ryokan style, this place could suit you. The rooms are quite big, effectively three small rooms, and have adjustable ondol, air conditioning, and heating. The hotel staff were great.
