Read the reservation details carefully. They use the rooms for day stays, so if you expect to check in at a normal time, make sure your booking says so. Otherwise, you may be stuck checking in between 22:00-24:00. When I asked why I couldn’t check in at 15:00 like at other hotels, I was told they wanted extra money. The room itself was nice, but there were no sheets, just a thin quilted pad, and the bed felt like a piece of wood with a very thin covering. I’ve never sat on a harder bed. We paid for a non-smoking room, but it smelled of smoke the whole time. The elevator smelled strongly of smoke too, even though the website says smoking is limited to designated areas. If you pay for non-smoking, you should get a non-smoking room. We probably wouldn’t stay again. We hadn’t read the fine print and didn’t expect all those rules and what felt like misleading information. I’m also disappointed Agoda didn’t make the check-in time clear. As a foreigner riding the 4 rivers bike trails, this was the first time we felt duped.
