The place was decent, but I made a request that could have been answered with a simple no. Instead, it was refused so rudely that I won't be coming back.

You can park on the road across the bridge without getting fined. It's pleasant to walk over the river and take in the scenery. In winter, the exterior isn't as impressive, but the rooms are cozy and around 10 square meters. There's also an attic, so it's worth a visit. A simple breakfast of toast with complimentary coffee or tea is served in the shared living room.

It reminded me of staying at my maternal grandparents' place as a kid. The room had a bed and bathtub, a bit like a modern motel, plus a wooden floor area for different uses. There were two bottles of water in the fridge, but no cups at all, not even paper ones. Honestly, for the facilities it didn't feel cheaper than a hotel, though, well, this is Jeonju. The soundproofing was basically nonexistent. This will probably be my first and last time staying in a hanok.
