Hanok Hyeyum

The location worked really well: Jeonju Hanok Village is close, the bus stop is a five-minute walk, and Hanbyeok Tunnel, where drama 2521 was filmed, and Na Hee Do's house are within walking distance. There's a big clear-water river nearby too. Go down the stairs and there's a little path for a stroll or bike ride. The gardens and buildings are beautifully maintained. The convenience store is a bit of a walk, but I didn't mind it in such a pretty area. We stayed one night and felt comfortable and happy. The room was very clean, cozy, warm, and had lots of amenities. The bathroom was cramped but spotless, with soap, shampoo, and towels provided. The floor got very warm, even too hot, and we had some trouble finding the right temperature, but it was still okay. The owner was kind and waited for us even though we checked in late, which we'd let him know about by email. His English was good, and we had a fun chat. It was worth the money, and staying in a Korean traditional house like one in a drama was unforgettable. We highly recommend it. You should visit Jeonju! 😍

The hosts were wonderful company, and we had a lovely conversation with them. They even called a taxi to the station and packed snacks for our train to Seoul. Though food wasn't included, they also gave us fruit, yakult, and rice cakes for breakfast. In the room, they had thoughtfully left face masks, water, tea, and coffee. My husband and I stayed two nights and just checked out of Hanok Hyeyum Hanok Hyeyum. It's a lovely, clean, well-kept Hanok, with warm, cozy rooms that have everything you need. It's right by a delicious grilled pork belly restaurant and just off the Hanok Village main street, so the location is very central. We really appreciated the hospitality and hope to visit Jeonju again soon. Highly recommend Hanok Hyeyum 🙏🏽❤️

After Seoul's hustle and bustle, we wanted to try a Hanok in Jeonju on our first trip to Korea. Hanok Hyeyum felt just like home, thanks to a super friendly, welcoming owner. It's clean, comfortable, and ideally located. The Gyeonggijeon Shrine, Jeondong Cathedral, and Pungnammun Gate are all about a five to ten-minute walk away. There are cute little cafes, restaurants, and a convenience store nearby too.

We could easily walk to Donggusa Temple, the night market, and around the Hanok village from here. It was my first stay in a Hanok, and the host made us feel very welcome. The accommodations were great. If you’re visiting Jeonju, I’d definitely stay here.
