The owner greeted us with a map and patiently helped us figure out the town. We only stayed one night, and the room was small and a bit dingy, but it did the job. Breakfast was a nice option, and we especially liked the coffee machine.

The guesthouse is only a block from Hanok village. I had a private room, one of the nicest I've had in a guesthouse, with a cozy, comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. The shampoo and body wash smelled so good, and you can make breakfast for free. When I come back to Jeon ju with friends, we'll stay here again.

Even arriving after 11pm, I got a cheerful rundown from the front desk manager about nearby restaurants and other local places. They also said I could show the hostel's card at certain spots for a discount. It was lovely service, though I was honestly ready to sleep, lol. The kitchen downstairs has coffee, milk, juice, and bread with strawberry jam or butter for breakfast. The jam comes in little packets, so no knife needed, and the microwave is handy for heating up convenience store food. I like that private rooms are available too. The owners seem to put real care into making the place feel like their home. You can hear noise from the hallway and passing trains. It didn't keep me from sleeping, but the rooms aren't very quiet.

The staff were warm and helpful, and pointed us to a bean sprout soup restaurant where we got a discount for staying here. The food was delicious, a famous Jeonju soup that's supposed to help with hangovers. We only stayed one night. The room was clean, if on the small side, which seems pretty normal in Korea. There were towels, a hair dryer, and free water in the fridge. Breakfast is included too, which is a real bargain at this price.

We had a bathroom drain issue, but the owners handled it so kindly it barely felt like a problem. My wife could use another room's shower that night, and by morning ours was working again. They even brought us tangerines while we relaxed in their cozy lounge. The price was affordable and the room had enough space. Since we tend to eat a lot in Korea, the light breakfast suited us: coffee and toast or cereal, with eggs available if you want to make them. Espresso drinkers can adjust how much water the machine dispenses.
