Jeonju Hanok Midam

The owner was incredibly welcoming, and my room was clean, so I had a really nice stay. There’s a good view of Omokdae from the rooftop at night, and the owner will make coffee if you ask. I also got a Hanbok at a reasonable price through their partner rental shop. There’s a tasty bean sprout soup place right across the street, Pungjeon Bean Sprout Soup, which serves breakfast from 6 AM. Bars, music bars, and a Hanok arcade are nearby, and Jeonju Nanjang is close too. Public and market parking are both about a two-minute walk away. Each floor has a water purifier and paper cups. The bathroom water pressure was good, and although the hallway could be noisy, I couldn’t hear it inside my room. I was very pleased with the location, cleanliness, and service.

The room and bathroom were both clean and nice. I didn’t care for having to share the shoe cabinet and refrigerator, though.

My room was clean and pleasant, and they even carried my luggage and pointed out where to park. The owner was very kind. There’s no fridge in the room, so guests use the one downstairs, where free coffee is available too. My only complaint was that the sound carried a bit.

I expected more after seeing the good reviews. The place wasn’t especially clean, the wallpaper had stains, and parking was a pain. Out of all the places I’ve stayed while traveling, this is one I wouldn’t return to.
