The location is in a hotel district near the bus station. There’s a GS25 store right in front of Jeonju Story, and you can hail a taxi on the nearby road or have one pull up to the entrance. There’s no lobby or parking. Inside, the hotel is clean and spacious, and the toilet has high-tech features. The lamp switches on automatically with a sensor. I didn’t use the comb, though, because I saw a hair on it and thought someone may have used it before. As a Muslim, I also didn’t like that the brochure included pictures and prices for women.

I liked the Hanok Village, with plenty of food and things to do. I just wish I’d had more time to experience the real essence of a Hanok stay. Two Heaven Motel itself was clean, affordable, and great.

For this price, I expected more. Calling it a boutique hotel seems off to me, since it’s just a motel and the only positives are the computer and connected TV. Even a weekend in Hongdae, Seoul costs 80,000-90,000 won, so paying this much to stay in Jeonju feels like a shame.

I went with a friend, thankfully, but the room still felt unsettling. There was a hole in the wall shared with the next room, and it had been stuffed with wads of paper.

The facilities are decent. It’s a self-check-in motel on the second floor, and guests on the third floor have to park outside, which is a little inconvenient.
