This isn't a fancy hotel, but it has what you need, including a large TV. Its remote was a little tricky to use. The rooms are semi-hanok, with beds, AC and floor heating, while the windows and doors are standard modern ones that keep out the weather. I loved the shared grounds: beautiful traditional hanok-style buildings nestled among quiet, peaceful hills, about a five-minute drive from 'hanok' village in Jeonju. Breakfast choices were limited to a few Korean dishes, and we had to reserve in advance.

You'll need a taxi to get to the train station, but the room was clean and tidy. The service was exceptional, and staying here is worth it for the traditional Korean hanok architecture. I'd recommend it.

The hotel is set in a beautiful, secluded spot, with modernized hanbok-style buildings and a stream behind the rooms and two-story houses. It's a short taxi ride to the attractions, since town isn't within walking distance. The restaurant's menu is limited, but the food is authentic, traditional, and top-notch. I was surprised by the coffee shop's selection of European desserts, and the display of local and Korean arts and crafts souvenirs was a huge bonus. I'll definitely stay here again when I return to Korea.

The traditional Korean housing theme brought back a nostalgic feeling for my parents and me. We loved our stay. The hotel was clean and well maintained, with enjoyable things to do, including traditional Korean games and a moonlight photo spot.
