There are lots of places to stay in Hanok Village, but this one was exceptionally clean. The bedding was fresh and fluffy, which made for a great stay. The rooms are small, as you’d expect in a hanok, but the high ceilings mean you can see the space from the bed, so it doesn’t feel too cramped. Good restaurants are nearby, and the parking lot is close, which made things easy.

The landlady’s kindness really stood out. I told her I’d arrive before the scheduled time, and she helped me check in early. When I got there, she cleaned the wheels of my suitcase and helped with my luggage. She also showed me a map and suggested places to visit and eat, which was very helpful. The room was cozy and intimate. Since it’s a traditional Korean house (Hanok), sound carries, and the bathroom was so small that showering was difficult. For one night, though, it wasn’t a major problem.

I’d happily stay here again next time. It’s a simple, clean, cozy place with a beautiful room, and the owner is incredibly kind. They even provide bottled water for free.

The room is clean and cozy, and just right for two people. You can feel the care that goes into running the guesthouse, and the owner is very kind. I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit Jeonju.
