Somangchae

It's a good option if the accommodation itself isn't your main concern. Each room has its own bathroom, which works well for families getting together. But the walk from the parking lot is quite long, so you'll need a cart or something similar if you have lots of luggage.

The small room was cozy, and the warm floor helped me sleep well. I rented an old little house with a lovely yellow-brown look and a wood-finished ceiling that felt warm too. The bathroom had been remodeled and was clean, but it was really cold. Haha.

The house was old and smelled bad, and as someone with dust mite allergies, my face started turning red. There were old dishes and chopsticks that looked like they were from the 70s, along with things left by previous occupants. The dining table wood was peeling, and the photos were dirty. The landlord didn't seem to care about service, just taking the money. For the price it was awful, and even 100,000 won would be expensive. My friends cussed me out for choosing it. The parking lot was far, the house was in a back alley, and it was far from the city center. Worst place I've ever stayed.

The owner was especially kind, and I had a comfortable stay. The Hanok Village was conveniently right across from the accommodation.
