The location made getting around easy. It’s close to major sights, and there are good local restaurants nearby, but the neighborhood itself is fairly quiet. A convenience store and pharmacy are right across the street, and the hotel was easy to find. The room was charming and very clean, with windows that opened for fresh air. I also appreciated the dental kit and the brochures and tour information at the front desk. There’s no safe in the room and no tea or coffee, and the towels are the small motel-style ones common in Korea, more like hand towels than full bath towels. Comfort was the bigger issue for me. The heating is centrally controlled, so I couldn’t adjust the temperature, and the room was too warm. The floor mats were extremely thin, more like blankets than real mattresses, so I was sleeping on a hard surface with barely any cushioning. I had a poor night’s sleep. There was only one very soft pillow per person, which felt below expectations even for a tourist or residence-grade hotel. When I asked, they brought an extra pillow promptly. If you can, I’d strongly recommend booking a room with a bed instead of floor bedding.

We were unsure about staying in a traditional hanok with our toddler, but this place turned out to be a great alternative, with both hotel and hanok feel. The staff were some of the nicest people we met, just amazing. There’s a cafe on the ground floor with a good breakfast option. We’d come back.

The location was perfect, and our room even had a jacuzzi. We had an amazing stay here and fully recommend it!

For the price, this place is great value. It’s within walking distance of the nearby tourist attractions and has aircon. There’s also a really cute cafe downstairs, plus a massage chair you can use for 15 minutes for $2.

Most attractions are an easy walk from this perfectly located place, and the price is reasonable. The male staff member was extremely helpful and pointed us toward the best places to eat and visit. Highly recommended.
