The place was spotless, but the stay was rough. The rooms are tiny, with metal bunks and a curtain only around the lower bed, and there’s so little shared space that every sound carries. Guests kept me awake until 3 am, then got noisy again early in the morning. There was no one on night duty, and the atmosphere felt impersonal and unsociable, like a big city hostel. Breakfast was just frozen white bread, instant coffee and cereal. For Korea, the price seemed high and poor value. The neighbor was lovely, and there are some small, homey-looking guesthouses nearby. I think staying in one of those would have felt much more local. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The room was spacious and very clean, and I didn’t run into any residents behaving badly. There are warnings asking guests to keep the noise down. It’s also easy to walk to the village or the nearby bus stop, so it’s a great place to stay.

Breakfast is included and was good. The hostel is clean and well maintained, though weekends get busy and weekdays are a little quieter. I’d stay here again.

While we were traveling to Jeonju, they greeted us so warmly and kindly. Such a lovely guesthouse, with the lowest price and the closest location to Hanok Village 😁

We really enjoyed our two nights here. It’s a small, lovely guesthouse, and the owner was friendly and ready to help whenever we had a question or concern.
