Staying here felt like traveling back in time, thanks to the traditional Korean architecture. The room matched the description and gave me a unique living experience. It’s well placed for walking to Hanok village, the mountain and the river. The owner is very kind and gives away lots of lovely postcards. A great place to stay in Jeonju. Update: endless thanks to the owner, Mr Chong, for taking care of the postcards so generously. They made it to Europe in about two weeks 🙏

The location is pretty good, with a short walk to the main area and a somewhat longer one to the bus. It’s a hanok, so go in expecting that kind of stay. The room was pretty small, which was expected, but the bathroom door was only around 100 cm tall, and I’m 190 cm. The sleep mats felt a bit flat. The owner was nice when I saw him, though there didn’t seem to be checkout instructions anywhere. When I couldn’t find him at checkout, I just wandered off, hah.

The owner was super friendly and helpful, and the house is beautiful. It’s in Hanok village, close to the main attraction. Definitely worth staying if you come to Jeonju and want to try living in a traditional Korean house. I’d visit again if we come back.

The Hanoks are beautiful, and the location couldn’t be better. You get an authentic, home-cooked Korean breakfast, which alone makes the stay worthwhile. A great experience.

The owner was friendly and clearly looks after every detail with a lot of love. It was clean and neat, and a great base for exploring Jeonju hanok village. A lovely, authentic Korean Hanok stay. I’ll definitely come back, 10/10 recommend!
