The staff were kind and moved us after the first room had hair in the bathroom and red droplets on the carpet that might have been blood. The second room was larger as an upgrade, but it smelled strongly of cigarettes. I don’t think that was the staff’s fault, since guests in Korean hotels can be pretty free about what they do in their rooms. Breakfast didn’t offer much either. I heard it was better before covid. Jinju doesn’t have many hotels, and this one is meant to be among the best. My stay didn’t go perfectly, but the service was kind, and the hotel does the job. I’d recommend it.

The rooms were fine, but the location didn’t suit what I was visiting for. Also, if you’re not used to Korean food, the meals may not be the best for you.

For work in Jinju or a visit to the city, this is probably the best choice. If you need to stay by the footy stadium, J-Squared is closer and has a similar style and service quality.
