The cafes around Hagusudong Beach were packed, so we came here instead. It was really windy, but we were happy with our choice and got a nice rest before heading out. I liked the place a lot, and the owner was friendly too. The espresso was better than average~

I booked this cafe and lodging because the exterior looked pretty. It has a youthful style, and the view and cafe itself were lovely. I arrived on Udo Island late and stopped in at the cafe. But the bathroom was shockingly dirty. The toilet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages, and the smell was so bad I couldn’t sleep. I still feel nauseous thinking about it.

From the building, the stars were so clear that I had a great time watching them. It’s a small two-story place facing the sea, with the cafe downstairs and guest rooms upstairs. The rooms are pretty, the owner is friendly, and there’s a convenience store and chicken restaurant nearby. The views through the one-sided and two-sided windows are great. Room prices seemed higher than on Jeju, maybe because it’s on Udo Island. Outside food isn’t allowed, though I’m not sure if that applies to every room. Simple snacks, drinks, and beer are permitted.

There’s a spacious yard with lovely views over the beach and ocean, and it’s a popular spot for photos. You can also grab food from the cafe before you head out. Right by Udo Hagosudong Beach, this mansion-like place combines a guesthouse with a cafe.
