Good Guesthouse

The owner was kind and easy to approach. He renovated and furnished the building himself, and the care shows: the place was clean and comfortable. We stayed for two nights while visiting friends and relatives in Mokpo, and the two sets of bunk beds worked perfectly for our family with two adult children. We loved the place and will stay again next time we’re in Mokpo. We’d booked at the last minute, after this was our third choice. It turned out to be tucked away yet very central to the real Mokpo, within walking distance of the train station, many attractions, and delicious local eateries.

The location is great and everything is well maintained. The room, bedding, bathroom, and shared kitchen were all clean and convenient.

Contactless check-in was easy, and the owner's warm manner put us in a good mood. Our family stayed in an Ondol room, which was warm and had clean bedding. The complimentary light breakfast was a nice extra. Parking in the public lot was tricky with so many nearby restaurants, but the other advantages made up for it. Great value.

We were able to rest well after I felt unwell during the trip. The place was quiet and warm, and I woke up feeling less tired. It's close to Mokpo Station, Nojeokbong, Yudalsan, and the Modern and Contemporary History Street, so getting around was easy. After a morning walk on Yudalsan, we had toast, eggs, juice, and coffee from the breakfast available until 10, then headed back out to see the sights. Highly recommend it for a trip to Mokpo.
