Ri-In Mokpo

The owner makes breakfast herself, which gives this place a warm, welcoming feel that's different from other guesthouses. Her coffee was delicious, and the toast was warm and the salad fresh and tasty. The room was clean and comfortable, within walking distance of the city center and close to several attractions, including the Museum of Modern History and Nojeokbong Peak, with its panoramic view of Mokpo. I'd love to stay here again if I return to Mokpo.

The breakfast was excellent, and I loved the welcoming, cozy space on the ground floor, plus the coffee and music. The owner was friendly, and the clean bedding and water cups get five stars from me. The duplex attic had a great atmosphere and was the best value for money. I took off one star because the double room's bathroom was small, though it wasn't a big problem. If I'm back in Mokpo, I'll definitely stay at Reen Guesthouse again.

It's a quiet guesthouse with lots of restaurants and attractions nearby. The owner lives on the first floor, and the three rooms upstairs each have a bathroom and an attic. Room 1 has a living room and kitchen guests can use as a lounge, unless someone is staying in Room 1, when access is restricted. My favorite was the little room off Room 1's attic, just right for curling up with a book. Breakfast is shared with the owner, so it's a nice chance to chat about Mokpo. You can put on some LP music, too. ^^ Only Room 3 has a bed.

Right at the foot of Yudalsan Mountain and close to Mokpo Station, this place is clean. The owners are a very affectionate couple, and local entertainers often drop by.
