We had a really nice time here, and the host was welcoming, kind, and spoke English well. They pointed us to a local restaurant that served delicious food. It's a great stop before heading to Jeju island, and if I get back to Mokpo, I'd stay here again.

The room was fine, and the location was convenient and easy to find. I can't comment on breakfast, but there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Good value for the price, so I'd recommend it.

VIP Hotel is within walking distance along the shore from Gawtbawey, one of Mokpo's must-see spots. The rooms are large and newly renovated, with a remote that handles the TV, air conditioning, and all the lights. There's even a flat-screen computer. Staff were attentive, and the price felt well worth it. In the morning, the lobby has fresh bread, free coffee, and strawberry jam. The jam packets are clever: fold one in half and squeeze, and the jam comes out neatly in the middle. So easy to spread, I give them 10 for that too.
