Muju Iris Pension

The roof over the private barbecue spot means you can use it in any weather, which is a nice extra. The place is right by Gucheon-dong Valley and seems ideal for bringing kids. Our room was reasonably clean, but there was no toilet paper outside the bathroom, which was a nuisance. The stay wasn’t bad, though something still felt lacking, especially for the weekend price. The valley itself is a stream bordered by a cement wall, which feels pretty out of step with current tastes.

The terrace had a private barbecue grill right outside our door, which was a nice extra. Three of us stayed at Soyul for one night and slept comfortably in the bedroom and bunk bed room.

We stayed in the chocolate room, a great choice. The female owner was cheerful and friendly, the facilities were good, and the price was low even in peak season. It’s close to Muju Gucheon-dong Tourist Special Zone, with a stream right beside it and a spacious terrace. I’m looking forward to a great summer vacation. ^^★★★★★

The interior was clean, and having our own terrace made it easy for the family to grill meat privately. It’s a duplex, so the kids kept running up and down the stairs. If I get the chance to come again, I’d like to try a different room. ^^
