It was easy to explore Namwon on foot from here, with Gwanghalluwon right next door. The room had a well-kept jacuzzi, great for easing travel fatigue, and the hotel itself felt clean and modern. Breakfast was simple but nicely prepared and made for a pleasant start. At night, it's worth heading out in casual clothes for a stroll and a look at Gwanghalluwon's night view. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, including Namwon's well-known Loach Soup Street.

A comfortable, clean stay. A queen bed room costs 60,000 won, or 70,000 won for two single beds. The Chunhyang Festival is making rooms hard to book at the moment, and prices have gone up. Breakfast includes sandwiches and cup ramen.

The room was roomy, smoke-free, and great in most respects. Breakfast didn't have much variety, but there was toast, Korean-style Maxim coffee, and ramen. The sewer smell when I first opened the door was the one thing that made me wrinkle my nose.
