The heated pool is set apart from the other areas, which kept it clean and stopped water from splashing around. We had a great stay with the kids. The other facilities were simple but clean, and the barbecue area was especially good. It felt like the young couple running the place had thought through all the little details.

The trampoline was a big hit with the kids, and I’d happily come back. We visited on December 30th, and for the price, this may be the best place we’ve stayed. There was no extra hot water fee for the pool villa, the pool temperature was just right, and the heating kept us warm. The private barbecue terrace was comfortable even in the cold, with blankets and heaters provided. The bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom were clean. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms, there was plenty of room for three of us, and they supplied a generous 20 towels.

The indoor pool would be handy for families with kids, and the place has plenty of practical supplies: basic seasonings and dishes, a refrigerator, high chairs, a roomy living room, several bedrooms and bathrooms, extra blankets, and a karaoke microphone. The facilities are generally average, though another part of my impression was that they were excellent. The interior is ordinary but clean. The location is poor, and there’s no supermarket nearby, so buy what you need before check-in unless you plan to stay in without drinking. The glass in the indoor barbecue area had a lot of meat grease on it and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned recently, so watch your feet. The blankets smelled a little, which could bother anyone with sensitive skin. It’s a nice option for families or friends, but this is only my personal experience, shared for reference.

The indoor pool is upstairs in the Charmant standard unit. Ask for lukewarm water, and four or five kids can play in it comfortably. The duplex has a bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen, another bathroom, and barbecue area on the first floor. Upstairs are the pool, a living room, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. It suits groups well. The price is around 400,000 won, and I understand each extra guest after the first four costs 10,000 won. We were 17 people, which worked out to about 25,000 won per person per night. The owner is friendly. Nearby, there’s only Chukryeongsan Recreational Forest, so this is a good choice if you mostly want a relaxing indoor stay. They provide towels, toothpaste, and toilet paper, plus basic seasonings and oils in the kitchen, though bringing your own is recommended. There’s a rice cooker, microwave, refrigerator, and electric range. Charcoal for the barbecue costs extra, so arrange it with the owner in advance. An electric grill is also provided if charcoal feels like too much hassle.
