Namyangju Hotel Tuus

I booked the room for just six hours to use as an office, and for the price it was really nice. Check-in is on the 9th floor in a lounge area, and the process was quick and easy. I don’t speak any Korean, but that wasn’t a problem at all. The woman at check-in was extremely kind and personally showed me to my room. Bottled water and canned drinks in the fridge were included, along with toiletries: toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, moisturizer, cleansers, razor, nightgown, towels, hair dryer, electric kettle, coffee, and condoms. The standard room didn’t smell too bad at first, though a slight cigarette smell later came through, probably from the ventilation. It stayed in one area and didn’t bother me much. The bed looked clean, but I imagine that could be hit or miss, and you can’t help wondering what sort of business goes on here. My room had no windows, and it’s definitely not kid-friendly. Most of the day it was quiet, but with the low price you can get noisy customers. If you’re unlucky, loud neighbors can carry on for a while, and you can hear enough through the walls to know what’s happening. The worst part was finding poop marks in the jacuzzi tub. At least there’s a separate overhead rain shower. I wasn’t staying overnight anyway, and for the price I was okay with the rest.
