Uljin Blue Ara Pension

We spent the day enjoying the pension’s billiards room, table tennis room, and swimming pool, and time just flew by. The room was clean, with a barbecue area right in the room, which made meals easy. The whirlpool was also roomy enough for the whole family to relax in together.

The kids had such a good time here. I usually just wade in at the beach, up to my thighs, haha, while the kids and their dad swim. Since this pool is indoors, I didn’t worry about getting swept away, and I could just grab a tube and hop in too. There are tables and chairs right by the pool, so we could have a quick bite while playing. The table tennis, karaoke, billiards, pocket tables, and barbecue area are open until 9 p.m., which still left us plenty of time to eat and play. We had a great time!

The comfortable beds meant we all slept well, and we went back for another swim before checking out the next day. The kids had loved the pool, which was very warm, almost hot, and had room for even the youngest ones to play. After dinner, the men went to the billiards room and, with no other guests around, played past the usual limit. I’d booked Blue Ara in a hurry, a few days before the holidays, while chatting with a close friend and her family. We arrived on the last day, after the holiday crowd had gone, and the owner upgraded our room. We hadn’t expected much, but it was much bigger and more comfortable than we thought, and it even had a barbecue room. It was clean and looked almost exactly like the website photos. There are so many pension ads around that can be hard to trust. This one felt like a place I’d found and really liked. We had a lovely trip, and I want to go back.

We had a good time eating, playing, and resting. The room was clean, the amenities were great, the owner was friendly, and breakfast was included. The disappointing part was the private BBQ advertised online: we had to eat outside, and the charcoal grill was set up like one at a barbecue restaurant.
