Goraekkum Hotel

Every room looks out toward the sunrise, and the beach is an easy walk away. The hotel and room were clean, too.

The sea is right outside, and room 603 had working Wi-Fi. I’d seen reviews saying it didn’t work, so it seems the owner may have taken that feedback into account. The bathrooms were clean, there was no cigarette smell, and the recent remodeling helped keep the room clean. The building itself still feels a little dated, but I was satisfied and plan to come back. Parking is plentiful, and having a convenience store on the first floor is handy. For good value, I’d recommend it, but if you expect more than that, you’ll be disappointed. And really, do people who are this satisfied with the price have any conscience?

The view is amazing, with the ocean right in front and the city stretching out beyond it. You can watch the sunrise from your room. There’s also a big CU convenience store downstairs, and the staff are friendly. The facilities were clean, though the place is a little old and feels more like a motel than a hotel.
