Paju Hills

The room felt open and spacious, a big change from the cramped rooms in Seoul, and I was very satisfied with it. The motel is quiet and secluded, surrounded by mountains, with good air. It's next to a park that's nice for a walk. Parking is spread across several smaller areas, which worked fine. The tub was in good shape and great for a half bath. There’s a fresh coffee bean machine and an ice maker in the lobby. It wasn't perfectly spotless or flawless, but the bed was comfortable, the temperature was easy to control, and the big TV had plenty to watch on OTT. The best.

We could see the Odusan Unification Observatory and North Korea from the window. We only stayed one night, but it was quite nice. The ceiling was high, which I liked, though we couldn't see the stars through the retractable glass ceiling because it wasn't very clean. For four people, the weekday price seemed reasonable. The room was roomy and had two beds, two large TVs, two computers, and even a massage bathtub. We didn't use the tub since it was in the living room.

The bed was so soft that I slept like a log, and the amenities, air conditioning, and Netflix were all great. The bathtub was huge, big enough to swim in. Soundproofing was the one downside, and the computer was a Pentium. I haven't seen one like that in what feels like 20 years.

On weekdays, you get five hours for bath time. The standard room has a large tub, and soaking in the hot water is a relaxing way to unwind.
