Dream Hotel

I liked the room itself, though getting there was a little inconvenient. I’d booked for day use, but it seems you’re not meant to leave during that time. I went out and came back to find they’d checked me out of the room I’d reserved. When I asked why, they said, “Well, if you leave during day use without telling anyone, of course we check you out.” I’d pressed the exit button when I left and clearly had my luggage inside. I asked if that made sense, and whether they should at least call the person on the booking and tidy up first. Only then did they say, “Oh, you had a reservation?” They offered me another room, but I was annoyed and just left. After I explained everything to the front desk by phone, they finally apologized and said they’d issue a refund. If I’d let it go, I would’ve lost my whole bag, wallet and all. Apparently I need to use the intercom every time I go out.
