It's peaceful here, with very clean, comfortable rooms and modern facilities. Get an ocean-view room if you come to Guryongpo, the view is worth it. The surroundings are quiet, and getting around is easy. The automatic curtains overlook Pohang Port. I'll stay here again when I'm back in Pohang. Highly recommended.

I booked the Deluxe Mountain View. The room was spacious, and the peak-season price seemed reasonable. On the first floor there's a self-service kiosk with ice, water, and other refreshments, which I really liked. With both a convenience store and the beach nearby, it worked well for a vacation stay.

This is a new building with decent rooms, but to me it feels like an upscale motel rather than a hotel, and a bit money-focused. The family rooms on the first floor allow barbecuing, but the extra on-site fee wasn't mentioned to me beforehand. There are two rooms, which is nice, though the space overall feels tighter than the photos suggest. The barbecue area is covered at the front and fairly private, but it's open to the sky, so people on the upper floors can see everything. That was my biggest disappointment. Cleanup is awkward too, since there's no sink there for washing dishes. If they expect guests to barbecue, they should add a parasol or shade overhead. The upstairs area also concerns me: there are bugs and spiders, so pest control is needed. They should provide basic barbecue tools, detergent, and salt too. Are guests meant to bring everything except the grill and charcoal? I can't recommend it.

I paid 110,000 won for my stay on February 10th, and it was amazing. The ocean view was beautiful, and the staff were so friendly. ♥ ♥
