Pohang Hotel View

We visited in the shoulder season, when there were enough people around without it feeling too crowded, and the beach and setting were lovely. The hotel is right across from the beach, and the room was very clean and spacious, though some of the furniture felt dated. They offer unlimited bottled water and a very basic toast breakfast. There’s a parking tower, so getting your car may take a little while, but at checkout they already knew we were leaving and handled it seamlessly.

We had a large premium ocean view room for three nights, with a tub, heated Toilet Bidet seat, and a seriously powerful massage chair. Loved that. The location was handy, with plenty of cafes and good restaurants serving fresh seafood at reasonable prices. There were some creaks at night, maybe because it’s an older building 😅🤪

The meal was so good I came back with my coworkers. It’s a beautiful black stone restaurant overlooking the beach, with a really relaxed feel and great servers. The kitchen worked magic. The only letdown was the local crab, which I didn’t find very tasty. The rest of the flavors were definitely a hit.

Parking is available for RVs, and the location is good, with lots of restaurants that have nice ocean views. The room was very clean and the service was good. Thanks, we’ll choose you again next time.
