The walking paths were great even with snow everywhere, and the views were beautiful. I can only imagine how nice it must be in seasons other than winter. The convenience store has a huge selection and, while it costs more than shops outside the resort, it wasn’t terribly expensive. There’s also a 24-hour robot cafe in the lobby. We chose an older, unrenovated room because we had our dogs, so I can’t comment on the newly redone rooms. Ours had scuffed furniture and a few small wall stains, but it was very clean and huge for the price. The Wi-Fi was fast, the TV was large and worked with our Netflix, and the heater kept the room comfortable. The fairly new LG Whisen standing air conditioner was nice too. With the windows open and a river breeze, I doubt you’d need it in summer, but it kept our old dogs comfortable after snowy walks. Just keep in mind this isn’t a luxury stay, and you’ll be happy with what you get. I was, and I’ll definitely come back. My second visit was just as good. It’s a lovely place.

The rooms were okay, though they felt a little old for the price. We couldn’t really enjoy the resort because of the bad weather. Getting there from the main highway takes quite a while, and driving in was especially hard with all the snow.

The grounds are beautiful, the location works well for rafting, and breakfast was generous with plenty to choose from. The price seemed fair too. But our room was in rough shape when we arrived. There were dead bugs around, big cobwebs on the balcony, and used cigarette butts left there. It didn’t look like it had been cleaned properly, and the interior badly needs a couple coats of paint. If you can get past how unpleasant the room looks inside, it’s a good place, since you don’t come to a hotel just to stay indoors.

I slept really well here. The beds are large and comfortable, and the resort feels like a nice, comfortable place for a family to relax and enjoy a vacation.
