At Healingwood Pension, I spent a night with friends during my long-awaited trip back to Korea. I still remember the quiet, spacious accommodation, the clear waterfall in the valley in front, and having a barbecue under the night sky. I'd definitely return to Healingwood if I get the chance.

The white bedding, dishes, and bathroom were all so clean, and the kind, attentive owners made it easy to relax. There are lots of stairs, but I was amazed by the mountain scenery. Having a drink while taking in the view somehow seems to help you stay sober. It had been a while since I smelled trees like that, and I really felt at home in nature. The owner seemed to spend the whole day picking up falling leaves. I was so impressed that I want to come back with my parents. Highly recommend!

This is a house carved into the mountain, and the slope looks dangerous. They use a pulley system to move luggage. The buildings are packed close together, so there's no soundproofing. It looked dirty in every corner, like it hadn't been maintained. It seems they use Starbucks review events to boost their ratings.

The surroundings, exterior, room, and hinoki wood interior were all lovely. I found the place by reading reviews and looking it up on Street View. I think it would be even nicer to visit in different seasons.
