I stayed in September, when the days were warm and the evenings cool. Bring something with long sleeves for evenings in the in-between seasons. The cabins are lovely, set in peaceful surroundings, and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were kind, and the service was excellent. It was a wonderful, relaxing stay for getting away from the city.

The cafe had a fairytale feel, and I’m looking forward to trying more of the menu. I tried the peach juice, and the salty taste went nicely with the peach aroma and milk.

The owner was incredibly kind, and the unusual furniture and interior decorations were genuinely beautiful. It’s a lovely place for photos if you don’t mind some discomfort. There were mayflies everywhere, which shocked me, and the bed was so small it was hard to call it a queen-size. Maybe because the room was a duplex, it was very cold even with a heated mattress. Pretty, but not comfortable.

The soft music and the owner’s warmth made this little forest cafe feel special, and I left with precious memories. It’s tucked near the entrance to Geumdang Valley beside a mountain path, with the feel of a small pension. The middle-aged owner has brought to life the props I’d seen before, and I was touched by the beauty, care, and hospitality. They have pasta and curry rice, and you can reserve a meal. If you get the chance to visit, it could make a lovely memory.
