Resort Granfeliz

The meals at Cielo Garden were tidy and delicious. I’ve stayed here for several nights at different times of year, and it’s been wonderful each time. It’s a lovely spot to relax in summer or winter, with the East Coast nearby and Mt. Odaesan and Mt. Balwang right next door. Seonjaryeong and Anbandegi in Daegwallyeong are also just a short trip away. The facilities are clean and the staff are friendly. Highly recommend it.

This feels like ordinary accommodation for working people, not the sort of resort with much to do. The outside looks like a regular villa, and the interior finishes left me baffled. The check-in area, tucked by the exterior entrance, looks like an officetel sales office. Overall it feels like standard Airbnb accommodation, far from luxurious. One staff member checked us in, went right to the room, cleaned it, and came back 20 minutes later. The amenities are cheap, and the construction equipment in the ground-floor commercial area is an eyesore. Breakfast was another puzzle. To reach the restaurant, which looks like a greenhouse for growing plants, you have to walk right alongside the road with your shoes on. Is this really resort breakfast? And why charge an extra 50,000 won just to fill the hinoki tub with hot water? There’s no bathtub, so of course it needs warm water. The marketing is just... I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who wants a fancy experience.

We were here for a company workshop, and the BBQ dinner and breakfast were both delicious. The facilities are clean, with underground parking too. It’s only 6-7 minutes from Yongpyong Resort.

The place seems newly built, and everything is clean. Some rooms have hinoki baths, while others have kids' rooms. In the 72-pyeong unit, there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus either a hinoki bath or a kids' room.
