We stayed three nights in early February 2025 in an ondol room at Tower Condominium, a family of four with kids aged 9 and 12. There was a cold wave, with temperatures down to -16 and a real feel of -24, but the underfloor heating kept the room so toasty that we opened the sliding door a little to cool it. The cooking facilities and huge fridge suited our small family, and sleeping on the floor was a fun novelty. Our room was ready early, so the friendly staff let us check in ahead of time. There was an AI conference going on, but we barely noticed because the resort is so large. We had lots of choices for meals and snacks, with many restaurants, a food court and two convenience stores. Shout-out to our lovely Argentinian ski instructor and Plus Planner / Winter Friend for making the stay so comfortable.

The view is beautiful, and there's plenty to do in both summer and winter. A waterpark is right beside the resort, with a whole mountain nearby, plus lots of restaurants. We didn't need to take a bus or leave the resort to find food or go hiking. The hike was incredibly beautiful.

The room was great, the amenities were commendable, and the service was wonderful. Food is easy to find near the lobby, including a halal restaurant for Muslims. There's also a mini market, sort of, if you want to cook. The one bad moment was when a shuttle bus driver cursed at me after I asked how to open the luggage compartment.

I stayed with four friends in the biggest room at Tower Condo. The rooms are villa-like and heated very well, so we all slept comfortably and could enjoy the next day. It's a bit of a walk to restaurants and the convenience store, so I'd stock up on food. A tip: if you book building L, the Red lift is just a few minutes away on foot. Being close to the ski resort is the main thing this place has going for it. The suites are bare and worn, and it's clearly showing its age without recent updates. The beds are rock hard, which I've been told is common in many Korean hotels. By American standards it feels dated, and cleanliness wasn't great either, with human hairs often on the bedding and in the bathrooms.
