Design Hotel Ddul

For $55 USD a day, the room had a lot going for it: granite counters, stone tile, a huge suite-sized bathroom, a big oval freestanding tub, a comfy bed, a PC monitor, and a giant LeD TV. It’s also a 10 minute walk to Osan AB, and I thought it beat the base inn easily. Update Nov-2020: I later learned this is a love hotel, where couples usually have sex and then leave, rather than stay to sleep. I’m Korean-American, but had no idea. In Korean culture, apparently staying here with children is preposterous, especially with noise from next door, so I wouldn’t recommend it for families. Shows what I know about my own country, nothing. I’d thought the granite, fancy tub, pretty decor, and nice-looking bed made it a bargain from my American point of view. But the bed was uncomfortable, which makes sense if people using it as a love hotel don’t actually sleep here. I originally recommended the place, but now I think the base inn is better after all.

Check-in was easy and the place was clean. And yes, it was reasonably priced.

For what it costs, it’s especially clean and comfortable.
