Pyeongtaek Station Gallery Hotel

Ugly, with lots of odd noises and white spots everywhere.

💣 The rates are 60,000 won on weekdays, 75,000 on Fridays, and 80,000 on Saturdays. I stayed for 7 nights and 8 days starting on a weekday, but they still demanded an extra charge in cash once the weekend came. 💣 The little tables in the rooms (see photo) have a bottom edge that feels sharp enough to be a weapon. Catch your foot on it and you could be out for at least three weeks. It bothered me enough that I wedged a disposable paper cup into it while I was staying there. I know the cleaning staff will probably take it out, but please grind that edge down. If someone gets hurt, they should be compensated. ㅠ 💣 I’m going to file a strong complaint with the Culture and Tourism Department at Pyeongtaek City Hall.

It’s cramped and not very good, and the facilities are worse than the 40,000 won place in Busan. Just expensive. I really can’t recommend it.

The room was clean, the interior was nicely done, and parking was easy and comfortable.
