Siesta

I’m leaving Namhae feeling refreshed, and I’m already thinking about coming back for the German Village Beer Festival in October. The wide windows gave us a sweeping ocean view, so booking a second night was a good call. I first found Namhae Urban Island through a search, and was struck by how neat and clean the room was as soon as I walked in. The amenities are beside the front desk, and I was very happy with the service. It was my first trip to Namhae, and I’m glad the lodging worked out so well. ^^

Urban Island is in a handy spot between Namhae and Sacheon, with easy access in either direction. The rooms were clean and helped me unwind after traveling. They provide toiletries and bathrobes, so arriving without your own things isn’t a problem, and there’s a simple breakfast too. I’d recommend it to people visiting the area.

The bathroom was surprisingly roomy, and the mini-fridge had bottled water. I also liked that shampoo and body wash came in individual packs. The room was very clean, without that strong air freshener or bleach smell, and the ocean view made me say “Wow” as soon as I opened the door. Photos don’t quite capture what it’s like in person. I was so pleased that I plan to stay again on my next Namhae visit. It’s getting popular, so I hope I can still get a reservation. Haha.

I was only there to sleep, and it was comfortable enough for that. The simple breakfast was pretty good, and lots of guests seemed to enjoy it.
