You check in at Peace House Cafe downstairs in the basement. The owners, a husband and wife, were both welcoming and made a great impression. I had a lovely rest, enjoying the spa and ocean view. The property is a duplex, with the bedroom and spa upstairs on the second floor. The bedding and towels were in great shape, and they provided disposable shower towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and even a dishcloth. You can open the window to listen to the waves and watch the sunrise. They also had dog supplies, including pads and dishes. When I checked out, I stopped at the cafe and saw lots of people having brunch with an ocean view.

It was lovely falling asleep to the sound of the waves. The owner was friendly, the cafe downstairs had a nice atmosphere, and the elevator made it easy to bring up my luggage.

I’ve stayed here twice and already want to come a third time. It’s a clean place, and the young owner gives you a warm welcome. You can fall asleep to the waves and take a night walk looking out at the sea. There’s a spa, plus a coffee shop on the first floor that’s great for brunch. On a nice day, sitting on the outdoor terrace with an iced Americano and looking at the sea feels so relaxing.

The cafe on the first floor had delicious brunch and juice, which I really liked. The people were friendly, but the sofa was terribly uncomfortable and the Wi-Fi didn’t work. There were too many gnats in the spa, and the towels had an odd smell.

The room was very warm and the view was amazing. It was clean, too. The main annoyances were that the towels and blankets smelled a little, and there wasn’t a sink.
